The Office of Archives and Statistics generally receives
copies of the audited financial statement for each of the
organizations and most of the institutions listed in the Seventh-day
Adventist Yearbook. Accompanying each statement is a
two-page summary of the salient financial indicators (Form
F-49). This information is maintained on a database and is
used to compile published statistics on the assets and net
worth of the denomination and its various institutional categories.
Further, a four-year summary of this information can be obtained
for each entity (Form F-50), and is utilized at the various
levels of church administration by financial review committees.
Generally, there is no provision for public access to a specific
current financial statement; these are available at the various
entities for review by board members, administrators, and
other appropriate persons. Access to microfilm copies of historical
documents is available to qualified researchers in the Archives.
